Exegi monumentum aere perennius pursues a research in materiality that aims to resolve into a sort of visual syntax. With the display of multiple actions by the artists in the space of their intervention– which is rendered possible by exposing a variety of material contrasts and stresses– Desranleau and Lum hope to create a narrative that involves the objects at play, the space the installation invests, and its architectural limits. The investment of the site is meant to pursue the artists' ongoing investigation of architecture, language, modes of display, and systems of power. - More information about the CAFK+A programmation
